Trees, vines & shrubs

From Grandma's favorite hydrangea, to wild mock orange and yerba-da-selva, the hydrangea family (Hydrangeaceae) includes plants of many statures. Join director Ross Bayton for a tour of this Heronswood-favorite family, which ranges from tiny herbs to large shrubs and trees, and also massive vines.

All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
