Whether it's covering an unsightly wall, creating privacy or simply adding color to an evergreen, vines are some of the most functional of garden plants. They are beautiful too, providing flowers, fall color and attractive fruits. Join Heronswood Director Dr. Patrick McMillan as he selects his favorite garden vines from the large collection here in the garden. He'll discuss plant choice, pruning and appropriate supports for vines, whilst touring you around the garden.
All in-person classes are limited to 15 attendees in order to facilitate social distancing. Masks must be worn. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Class may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
