Camas Club for Kids
Bring kids and plants together in the garden, for facts and fun
Fab Fun for Kids
For centuries, the S'Klallam people have utilized camas bulbs as an essential food, a symbiotic relationship that protected rare prairie plants. The Camas Club at Heronswood provides fun and educational activities for kids in the garden. We'll have bug safaris, scavenger hunts, and a chance to get your hands dirty planting and making. Food and drink available to buy.
The garden is open 9am-3pm, but the event opens at 10am and closes at 2pm. Kids enter FREE, but tickets required for adults (free for Heronswood and tribal members), but no additional fee for Camas event.
