Create a Container Bog Garden, with Dr. Patrick McMillan
An In-person Class
Contained Carnivory
Picture this scene: a warm summer's evening and you're enjoying a family dinner al fresco, but then you hear a buzzing sound. Yellowjackets have homed in on your food and become a nuisance. What you need is a bog garden in a container, set up near your table, to draw these pests away. What's more, the hungry plants in your bog will feast on flying pests and hopefully give you some peace. Join carnivorous plant expert Dr. Patrick McMillan as he shows you how to create a container bog garden and how to care for it. Each attendee will create a small container bog garden to take away at the end of this class.
All in-person classes are limited to 15 attendees in order to facilitate social distancing. Masks must be worn. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Class may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
