An In-person Class

Tickets for this Event are Sold Out

Cape of Good Hope

South Africa is one of the world's most diverse countries when it comes to plants. Home to the Cape Floral Kingdom, a surprising number of well known garden plants trace their origins there, including pelargoniums, gladioli, aloes and red-hot pokers. Join world traveler Dan Hinkley as he recounts his exploration of Africa's southern tip and takes you on a tour of Heronswood's many Cape treasures.

All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees in order to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
