Flora of Chile, with Dr. Ross Bayton

Flora of Chile, with Dr. Ross Bayton

An In-person Class

Collecting more than just seeds...

Join Heronswood Director Dr. Ross Bayton to hear all about his first trip to the Valdivian Rainforests of Chile. Joining with colleagues from other PNW gardens, Ross sought out seeds of many Chilean trees, shrubs, and herbs to stock the Chilean section of our Traveler's Garden. He'll begin with a richly-illustrated lecture, then take attendees out into the garden to show them some of Heronswood's existing Chilean collections.

All in-person classes are limited to 25 attendees. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
