Garden to Wilderness Herbalism: Best Harvesting Practices

Garden to Wilderness Herbalism: Best Harvesting Practices

An In-person Class

Harvesting with care

Join Debby Purser and Erin Lanum to learn more about what tools, practices, and considerations are involved in ethical harvesting of plants, whether in your garden or from wilderness locations, through the lenses of Western and Indigenous herbalism traditions. This is a three-hour class, with the first portion as indoor lecture and the second portion as harvesting demo. Leave with a broader skill set and sense of place/connection to our local ecosystems.

All in-person classes are limited to 25 attendees. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
