An In-person Class
Mellow Mushroom
Join us at Heronswood for a special class with Clallam County Master Gardener Bob Blackett, who will teach us how to grow mushrooms (shiitake) on a wood log. Process and inoculate a log to take home with you.
This in-person classes is limited to 20 attendees. We highly recommend bringing your own drill and 5/16” bit, along with a hammer or rubber mallet. Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
