Visitors are sometimes surprised to hear that Heronswood has one of the country's largest fern collections. Join past President of the Hardy Fern Foundation (and HW volunteer) John van den Meerendonk for a fun and informative class on some of his favorite ferns. Having helped build so many of our gardens at Heronswood, he's the perfect person to guide you around our ferns.
All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
