Kaleidoscope of color
Color is at the heart of what we do as gardeners, whether in beautiful blooms, blushing berries or fab fall foliage. But how do plants produce such an array of colors and why do we gardeners see them the way we do? Join Heronswood director Dr. Ross as he delves into the science of color, from pigments to pollination, and from fall color to fuzzy foliage. This class includes a lecture and garden tour.
All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
