Hanging with the Hummers
Hummingbirds are one of nature’s most inspiring and fascinating biological machines. These tiny birds sculpt the world around them with the power of pollination. In a single lifetime a hummingbird may visit up to 3 million flowers and with each visit they drive natural selection and shape plants ranging from towering trees to modest herbs.
Join Heronswood Garden director Dr. Patrick McMillan for a fascinating look into their biology, interconnections with our plants and how to plant to attract and care for the hummingbirds of the PNW year-round.
This is an online event which will be held via Zoom. Details will be shared after registration.
