Speak to a Scientist!

Take an inside look at plants! Dr. Lacey from the University of Washington’s Department of Biology will discuss basic plant functions to answer questions such as, "What do plants use water?" and "Where does the sunlight go inside the plant?" and also "How do plants know what time it is?". Sure to be a fun and fascinating class!

All in-person classes are limited to 20 attendees to facilitate social distancing. Masks are recommended, but not compulsory. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Classes may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
