Winter Wonderland

“Plant your garden with Winter in mind. Spring, Summer and Autumn will take care of themselves”. These wise words were told to me years ago by the late, great Christopher Lloyd of Great Dixter in the U.K., and I have heeded his advice.

We are fortunate to cultivate an enormous breadth of plant species in the PNW for effects during winter, though a garden in any climate will be its best if the effects of bark, foliage, fruit and flowers during the off-season of gardening are considered first and foremost.

Join Dan Hinkley in a visual tour of some of his ‘to-not-be-without’ plants with winter interest. Gardeners of ALL hardiness zones will be welcomed!

This is an online event which will be held via Zoom.  Details will be shared after registration.
