One of the great advantages of working with plants is that once you have one, you can make many more via propagation. Taking cuttings has to be one of the most satisfying garden jobs, but if you've struggled to achieve good results, then this class is for you. Join world-renowned plantsman and propagator extraordinaire Dan Hinkley as he reveals his secrets of success. Softwood cuttings will be the main focus of this class and you'll take home numerous cuttings from Heronswood's premier plant collection. This is Part 1 of a 2-part lecture; the second part is on December 7th. Attendance at both is not required.

All in-person classes are limited to 15 attendees in order to facilitate social distancing. Masks must be worn. A significant portion of this class is held outside, so attendees should dress appropriately. Class may be rescheduled in the event of bad weather.
