A Lunchbreak Lecture.

A Love of Lilies

Plants collectively known as “woody” lilies include Agave, Yucca, Dasylirion, Nolina and several other plants we mostly associated with growing in landscapes in Tucson, Arizona! Surprisingly many are at home in the proper settings in the PNW. These plants provide strong architectural interest to the garden and year-round interest. They also are excellent choices for planting in problematic spots where summer irrigation is impossible.

Join Heronswood Garden director Dr. Patrick McMillan to learn about the many species that you can include in your landscape and how to successfully provide them a home and some tales from collecting in the “Border Region.”

This is an online event which will be held via Zoom.  Details will be shared after registration.
